Welcome to Xi Theta

Xi Theta Chapter of Sigma was chartered in 1994 by the California State University Dominguez Hills School of Nursing. The chapter began its legacy as a CSUDH honor society and expanded that legacy by becoming the 342nd chapter of Sigma. Since our chartering we have inducted hundreds of nursing students and community leaders into Sigma and currently operate with a chapter membership of more than 200 members. One of the things that makes Xi Theta especially interesting is our success as a chapter that is associated with a School of Nursing which caters primarily to distance-learning students. In recent times we have seen how this virtual expertise has been beneficial. A few of our many accomplishments include participation in the planning and execution of the Odyssey Research Conference in conjunction with other local Sigma chapters.

    Research is an integral part of nursing leadership and nursing science expansion. The Xi Theta leadership supports your participation in the upcoming sigma events listed above with limited opportunities for a sponsorship to facilitate: 

        • dissemination of research and projects 
        • enrichment of knowledge and experience in research
