Exciting funding opportunities are officially open for Sigma research and project grants — and we want to see your innovative ideas come to life! 💡🩺

🌍 Advance Evidence-Based Practice & Improve Health Outcomes
Eligible nurses from across the globe may apply for funding ranging from $2,000 up to $20,000 USD to support research, evidence-based practice, and meaningful improvements in patient care and community health. Grants are made possible through the Sigma Foundation for Nursing’s Research Fund and partnerships with global organizations.

📅 Key Deadlines to Know:
🔹 1 April: Multiple research and program grants are accepting applications, including collaborations with nursing societies such as AIDS care, hospice & palliative care, Hispanic nursing research, Midwest Nursing Research Society, and more.
🔹 1 May: Apply for global nursing research awards like the Dr. Martha Pitel Global Nursing Research Grant, ANCC Evidence-Based Practice Implementation Grant (up to $20,000!), and several other focused research opportunities.

🎓 Whether you’re an experienced investigator or emerging scholar, these grants are designed to support research that matters — from clinical practice change to global health equity.

💡 Helpful tips before you apply:
• Review specific grant requirements early — each has its own purpose, eligibility, and focus.
• Sigma provides resources to help applicants navigate the process, including step-by-step tutorials and FAQs.
• Be ready to implement your project when funded and plan to submit a final report and abstract upon completion.
