I possess fundamental knowledge in both theoretical and hands-on nursing at the level of a registered nurse and am dedicated to providing quality, client-centered care in a healthcare team.
I aim to use my skills in the healthcare and leadership industry to provide competent and quality care, advocate for my clients, continue my nursing education and empower and educate our community. I strive to bridge the gap in our system and make healthcare an accessible right with providers who care every step of the way. I am extremely eager and passionate to step into the field of healthcare and am extremely fond of leadership opportunities and management and work well in a fast pace environment. I am multilingual and can communicate in English, Punjabi, and Hindi with native proficiency.
I am also very honoured to have represented the Faculty of Nursing at the Ontario Universities' Fair 2022 in Toronto alongside the Dean of Nursing at UWindsor and many faculty, at the CNSA Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as speak on the nursing panel for incoming students for the past two consecutive years alongside our Student Success Coordinator and Clinical Lead. In these experiences, I have the honour of meeting the Chief Nursing Officer of Canada, Dr. Leigh Chapman, on two occasions, and speak with her on the future of nursing.
