Chapter News

  • Founders Day

    Tau Beta Chapter teamed with the Outreach Committee of Wyoming United Methodist Church to WALK for WATER.  This walk earned funds to support Lifetime Wells, International to drill fresh water wells in Ghana and Tanzania.   Members of the chapter participated in the 6K walk while others provided first aid and water stations along the way.   To date the event raised enough monies to drill two wells and are very close to achieving enough funds for a third well.
  • Showcase of Regional Excellence Award

    Tau Beta Chapter receives the Showcase of Regional Excellence Award.
    The Showcase of Regional Excellence (SRE) is designed to recognize the good work of chapters in relation to the Presidential Call to Action. Recognition is given at the regional level and spans the course of the biennium.
  • Pinning Ceremony

    Tau Beta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau is proud to support the Wesley College nursing graduating class of 2021.  

    To the Tau Beta members  of the class of 2021 from Wesley College stay active in Sigma and uphold its vision.  To those not yet members strive to become a member through your leadership and service to the profession of nursing.

    As graduates of Wesley College we hope you will be nurses leading health care changes.  Keep the Wesley College nursing legacy alive by practicing in your nursing career as the intelligent, strong, resilient, and professional nurses you have been educated to become.

  • Special Mentor Recognition

    Congratulations to Dr. Darla Davidson and Dr. Nancy Rubino for receiving special mentor recognition from the Wesley College Scholars Day.

    Scholars Day at Wesley College would not be possible without the tireless efforts of the faculty and staff mentors who volunteer their time and expertise in guiding our students. There have been 12 Scholars Days.  Dr. Davidson and Dr. Rubino were considered five-star mentors, mentoring students in  research for five or more Scholars Days.
