Job Description:

The Framingham State University Department of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position starting September 2025. 

The position requires classroom and online teaching in a blended-learning format in the undergraduate (RN-to-BS) and graduate (MSN) Nursing programs.  Additional responsibilities include student advising, curriculum development, service to the University and Department, continuing professional development, and scholarship.  National program accreditation process experience (such as CNEA, CCNE, or ACEN) is highly desirable as is the credential of Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).

Hello Framingham State Nursing Alumni,

We hope this finds you well. Our FSU Nursing Programs have applied for initial accreditation with the NLN Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Our site visit is scheduled for October 7-9^th.

The site team members have requested group meetings with our RN-BS, MSN, and Certificate programs alumni to discuss your connections with or involvement in our programs. 

Meetings are scheduled on Tuesday, October 8^th. The meetings will be both on campus and remotely via Zoom.

The Alumni group meeting is at 1:45-2:30 p.m. (45 minutes). 

On campus, the meeting is in Hemenway Hall 313 (the Simulation Lab Debriefing Room).

The annual Region 15 Research Symposium is being held Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Providence, Rhode Island at the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center. The symposium is being offered both virtually and online. Thanks to strong support from sponsors, the conference is able to offer free registration to all students!

The symposium is a wonderful day of research and networking among nurse leaders, researchers and students. We sincerely hope you can make this event. 4.75 CEUs are available. Breakfast and lunch will be served for in-person attendees.
