Thank you for joining us. We are honored to have you as a part of our chapter!

Rho Nu-at-Large is a joint chapter of Ashland University and Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The original chapter chartered in 2002 and Mount Vernon Nazarene University joined in 2013. Many students and Nurse Leaders from these local areas are inducted each spring.

Rho Nu at-Large Chapter Annual Events
Our chapter offers many opportunities for scholarship, networking, and service. Join us for one or more of these annual events!

Fall Scholarly Event
Each fall, we have a scholarly event offering opportunity for networking, CEs, and a poster presentation.

 


Spring Induction
In the spring, we have our induction ceremony of new members. We also feature a guest speaker and present chapter awards.

Knowledge Integration Day
In the spring, we also co-host a Knowledge Integration Day for student presentations.
Summer Service
In the Summer, we volunteer at the American Red Cross Comfort Station at the Knox County Fair. This is a great time of service to the community!

Other service opportunities include collecting donations to support Southern Africa Nazarene University Nursing Students in Manzini, Eswatini 

Scholarship Opportunities
We also offer a scholarship for members who are continuing their education.

    Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community this Holiday season? Giving Hope Charity in Mt. Vernon is inviting passionate individuals to join them in making a real impact on young lives by helping students shop for holiday gifts. 

    Date & Time: December 13th 11:30-15:30

    Location: Meet at Mt. Vernon Middle School at 11:30am. Buses leave for Walmart at 12:30 and will return to the school at 15:30.

    Summer Volunteer Opportunity

    Over the years, Sigma members have partnered with American Red Cross to serve at the Comfort Station at the Knox County Fair. Stay tune for more information about this upcoming opportunity. The fair dates are July 19-26.

    Global Initiative

    During our spring induction ceremony, we highlighted a new global initiative to support nursing students at the Southern Africa Nazarene University in Manzini, Eswatini.  Donations are used to provide nutritious foods to support student learning.   • Volunteer Opportunity

    The OhioHealth Emergency Management team is seeking volunteers to serve as actors in their upcoming NECO regional exercise coming up on April 29. The team is seeking 17 volunteers to serve at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital and three volunteers to serve at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital. Volunteers will need to arrive at the care site at 7:30 AM and will be dismissed and provided a free lunch at 11 AM. Use the following survey to sign up https://veoci.com/v/p/form/btsxqqkjtxqw.
