7th induction ceremony, Psi Kappa Chapter - الحفل السابع لانطلاق الفرع الاردني

تحت رعاية عطوفة أمين عام المجلس التمريضى الاردني الاستاذ الدكتور هاني النوافلة, أقام فرع الساي كابا ممثلا برئيس الفرع الاستاذ الدكتور أماني خليل ونائب الرئيس الاستاذ الدكتور ميسون عبد الرحيم / الجامعة الردنية بالتعاون مع الاكاديمية العربية للرعاية التلطيفية الحفل السابع لانطلاقة الفرع الفخري. وقد حضر الحفل سعادة النائب بيان فخري وعمداء الكليات التمريض في الجامعات الاردنية ومدراء التمريض  في مستشفيات المملكة . هذا بالاضافة لحضور عدد وفير من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية من كليات التمريض المختلفة. وتخلل الحفل التعريف بالفرع وفوائد الانضمام الية. كما تم الاعلان عن نتائج انتخابات المجلس الاداري للفرع وانتهى الحفل باداء الاعضاء المنتسبين الجدد القسم للسيجما العالمية للتمريض.

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Jordanian Nursing Council, Prof. Dr. Hani Al-Nawafleh, the Psi Kappa chapter, represented by the chapter president, Prof. Dr. Amani Khalil, and the vice president, Prof. Dr. Maysoun Abdul Rahim / University of Jordan, in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Hospice and Palliative Care, held the seventh celebration of the launch of the honorary chapter. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Deputy Bayan Fakhri, deans of nursing colleges in Jordanian universities, and directors of nursing in hospitals in the Kingdom. In addition, a large number of faculty members from various nursing colleges attended. The ceremony included an introduction to the chapter and the benefits of joining it. The results of the chapter’s administrative council elections were also announced. The ceremony concluded with the new affiliate members taking the oath of office to Sigma International Nursing.

 Congratulations to Dr. Elham Othman, a proud graduate of the University of Jordan and a faculty member at Applied Science University, for winning the prestigious Emerging Nurse Researcher/Scholar Award at the Sigma International Nurse Researcher Awards 2025! 
This well-deserved recognition is a testament to Dr. Othman’s dedication, excellence, and contributions to nursing research. She will be honored at the Sigma Congress in Seattle July 2025.

يوم تعريفيّ بأهداف فرع الساي كابا في تمريض الأردنيّة

أقام فرع الساي كابا/ السيجما العالميّة للتّمريض يومًا تعريفيًّا لطلبة كليّة التّمريض للمستويات الدّراسيّة كافّة؛ وذلك للتّعريف بأهداف الفرع، وفوائد الانضمام أعضاءً، إلى جانب الإشارة إلى خدماته المحليّة والعالميّة

وتضمّن اليوم التّعريفيّ بيعَ كتب للطّلبة بأسعار رمزيّة الّتي تبرّع بها أعضاء الهيئة التّدريسيّة في كليّة التمريض، إضافة إلى مسابقات تضمنّت أهداف السيجما، وقدّمها طلبة متطوّعون من مستويات السّنة الثّالثة والرّابعة.

ويشار إلى أنّ فرع الساي كابا أحد فروع المؤسّسة الفخريّة العالميّة/ السيجما الّتي تضمّ أكثر من 600 فرع في العالم، ويعدّ فرع الساي كابا الّذي مقرّه في الجامعة الأردنيّة منذ العام الجامعيّ 2017/2018 الثّاني في منطقة الشّرق الأوسط، وأُنشئَ على أيدي ثلّة من المتطوّعين من أعضاء الهيئة التّدريسيّة (أ.د أماني خليل، وأ.د ميسون عبد الرحيم) في كليّة التّمريض؛ ليقوم بتمثيل التّمريض كافّة في الأردنّ.

وتقوم مهمّة الفرع الأردنيّ على أهداف عدّة، ومن أهمّها تطوير القيادة في التّمريض، وتطوير مهنة التّمريض السّريريّة، والأكاديميّة، وما يتّصل بالبحث العلميّ، ويأتي هذا النّشاط ضمن خطّة الفرع الإستراتيجيّة

47th biennial convention 2023, San Antonio, Texas
في الحادي عشر من شهر تشرين الثاني ابتدأت فعاليات المؤتمر السابع والاربعين في مدينة سان انتونيو، واللذي يقام كل عامين لاختيار رئيس لمنظمة سيجما العالمية للتمريض، واختيار باقي الاعضاء الدوليين الممثليين لمناطقهم، وكعادة الفرع الاردني وحضوره الدائم اجتماعات منظمة سيجما، تم تمثيله في هذا العام من قبل السيد فراس شاهين، وتم الاجتماع مع مختلف الافرع في الوطن العربي وممثليهم والتواصل للعمل على تطوير الافرع في المنطقة العربية، وكما قد تم اختيار د. وفاء بن علي من فرع الفا بيتا سيجما في المملكة العربية السعودية، كممثل ومنسقة عن منطقة الشرق الاوسط.

اختتمت امس في ابو ظبي فعاليات مؤتمر الابحاث التمريضية الدولي للعام الحالي 2023 بتنظيم من سيجما ثيتا تاو العالمية، وبمشاركة مجموعة من الباحثين العرب والاجانب..

Proud of our members for accepting their work to be presented in the 47th biennial convention in San Antonio, Texas and in Sigma 34th International Nursing Research Congress in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

A Workshop for Undergraduate Students at The School of Nursing

Psi Kappa Chapter in contract with Alumni Affairs at the School of Nursing, The University of Jordan. Professor Maysoon as a speaker in this workshop, which was held to empower newly graduated nursing school students to enrich their experience in how to write a professional resume, how to be prepared for job interviews, and how to communicate and to work within a group.
