Analyze existing disparities in vaccine access and uptake across racial, socioeconomic, and geographic lines. Highlight persistent structural barriers such as healthcare access, transportation, insurance, and data gaps. Detail the reconstitution of ACIP and its implications for public health policy. Outline major changes to COVID-19 and childhood vaccine recommendations, including the move toward shared clinical decision-making. Explore how shifts in recommendation style and coverage may disproportionately affect vulnerable populations.

Identify potential risks (e.g., access gaps, increased costs, confusion) and possible benefits (e.g., improved trust, personalized care). Propose actionable strategies to mitigate risks from new policies, such as enhancing provider access, maintaining insurance coverage, and improving communication. Stress the importance of monitoring data and engaging community stakeholders to ensure inclusive implementation (ANA, 2022).

Trauma informed care is an approach that promotes and awareness of the prevalence of trauma and an understanding of its effects and how them may impact physical health and behaviors of students. Trauma-informed care is essential for providing effective, compassionate, and holistic support to individuals who have experienced trauma.  Trauma exposure can increase the likelihood of students having trouble adjusting to college and academic failures.  Colleges have students from all stages of life and development.  Faculty members play a critical role in supporting mental well-being among students.
