The Lake Charles Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, Kappa Psi, was established in 1988. Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing. Induction is held in the Spring of each year to honor these students, as well as to recognize outstanding nurses in the community and install newly elected officers.Kappa Psi partners with other professional nursing organizations throughout the year to provide educational opportunities for nurses and promote research efforts within the community.

In case you missed it, this month our meeting focused on starting to organize our yearly induction ceremony and preparing our treats and breakfasts for finals week.
Our Spring Induction Ceremony will be held April 22nd at 5:30PM.
Our next meeting will be March 31st and I will send out a reminder closer to the date!
