The purpose of this continuing education activity is to enable to learner to recognize the unique learning needs of adult students and discover methods to enhance their engagement and knowledge in the classroom learning environment.

Continuing Education Objectives:
  1. Identify factors that influence engagement and learning in adults.
  2. Compare and contrast faculty centered and learner centered methods of instruction.
  3. Evaluate the differences in adult students' perception of their engagement and knowledge retention with the use of traditional and active learning methods of instruction.
Continuing Education Credits will be awarded upon the completion of this event.
