  • GSCDC Donations / Volunteer Opportunity

    Good afternoon! We are very pleased to share that Kappa Eta will be collecting donations for the Garden State Community Dev't Corp (GSCDC) this year. GSCDC is a longstanding community partner serving Jersey City's under-housed population. See more details below. 

    • WHAT: Drop-off and/or distribute donations 
    • WHERE: Garden State Community Development Corporation (514 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306)
    • WHEN: Wednesday, September 25, 2024; 3:15pm-3:45pm
    • DONATIONS: Toothpaste, combs, body wash, bar soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, deodorant, wash cloths, sanitary napkins, belts, underwear, t-shirts

  • Sharing Network Walk for Life 5K

    Kappa Eta is joining the Nursing Department in support of our Kappa Eta Member Shanda Johnson
    The Nursing Department has created a team for the Sharing Network Walk for Life 5K on Sunday, June 9th in support of Dr. Shanda Johnson. 
    All of the students in the JC cohort are either walking or volunteering at the event.
    Please join us for the walk/ run or kindly make a donation to the team in support of Dr. Johnson!
