Do you know of a nurse co-worker that goes above and beyond what is expected of them.  Maybe they create evidence-based teaching experiences, mentor students or colleagues, lead productive scholarly endeavors.  If you know of someone who may fit these or other marks of excellence, consider nominating them for a 2022 Excellence in Nursing Award.  Winners will be announced during the 2022 Induction Ceremony later this fall.  Attached is the nomination form.  Don't delay, nominate today!

In honor of Sigma's 100 years of excellence, we challenge our members to provide 100 minutes of service to the organization of your choice by October 17th. We would love to share your activities during our October 19th Fall Research Event (registration is live on this site!). We would also love to hear about your service and share opportunities to serve in our chapter at our Founders Day Happy Hour Oct. 5 (see information on this site in Chapter News!). Share your service with our current president Luanne Shaw via email shawlu@gvsu.edu or post on our Face Book Page. We look forward to here where and how you are serving our communities.

Founders day is coming up October 5th in celebration of the formation the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, now known as Sigma. Learn about our history here. Join us for a "Founders" happy hour at Founders Brewing Co. (235 Grandville Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) Wednesday October 5, 2022 between 3 and 6 pm.
