The Leadership Succession Committee is pleased to announce the upcoming elections for two important positions: Chapter President and Chapter Secretary.
· President: Provides leadership and strategic direction for the chapter, presides over board meetings and activities, represents the chapter at regional and international levels, and ensures timely completion of reports and planning initiatives.
· Secretary: Maintains official records of meetings, prepares and distributes minutes, oversees chapter communications, and manages correspondence and communication platforms.
To ensure a smooth leadership transition, outgoing officers will be available to mentor and support newly elected leaders.
If you or a colleague are interested in serving, please submit nominations by emailing the Leadership Succession Chair at ssorkpor@fsu.edu by Friday, September 19, 2025. Nominees will be asked to complete a Consent to Serve Form. Full position descriptions are attached and also available on the chapter website.
We encourage you to consider this opportunity to expand your leadership experience and strengthen our chapter. Please also share this call with student members who may be interested.
