Nominate a Nurse that exemplifies either Excellence in Nursing Education or Excellence in Clinical Practice Now!  The 2025 Annual Alpha Kappa at-Large Chapter Awards remain open The awards align with the Sigma mission in developing nurse leaders anywhere to improve healthcare everywhere. Sigma has three core values – love, courage, and honor. The Chapter recognizes superior achievements in developing nurse leaders to enrich the nursing profession and improve healthcare in the Denver Metropolitan region and beyond. The Chapter are seeking nominations for the two following awards: Alpha Kappa at-Large Chapter Award for Excellence in Nursing Education - with Sigma's mission, vision, and core values in mind, the chapter recognizes nurses who make significant contributions to the chapter as a leader through nursing education in either an academic or clinical setting utilizing evidence-based practice, innovative teaching strategies, role modeling, and exemplifying life-long learning. Alpha Kappa at-Large Chapter Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice - with Sigma's mission, vision, and core values in mind, the chapter recognizes nurses who make significant contributions to the chapter in the clinical setting through innovative nursing practice, performance improvement, healthy work environments, leadership, and resiliency.
