Join Sigma - Tau Upsilon Chapter's Fall Social and Philanthropic Event at Thiessen Orchards* on October 4th, 2025 (Saturday), from 10AM to 1:30PM (You are welcome to stay and explore until 5:30PM). Admission is $5 per person (kids and adults) for an all-day general pass (DOES NOT include the Haunted Barn). We encourage attendees to donate non-perishable food items/$ to our local food banks (UW student food bank).  For further details, please refer to the event flyer. Happy New Year from your local Tau Upsilon Chapter! Each year in February, tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of compassion in their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $75,000,000 across Canada in 190 Canadian communities, with 100% of the proceeds staying local to support charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. On February 22, 2025, the Graduate Nursing Society and the Undergraduate Nursing Society at the University of Windsor, along with Sigma’s Tau Upsilon Chapter will participate in the Coldest Night of the Year in support of the Downtown Mission of Windsor. Through this much-needed financial support, the provision of food, shelter, and comfort to our hurting neighbours can continue. As the festive season approaches, it's a time for giving, sharing, and spreading joy. This year, we have a wonderful opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of a local family who could use a little extra cheer. In collaboration with SOAHAC and the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Windsor, we are sponsoring a family that would benefit from our support!
