Xi Pi Chapter

Dear Xi Pi Chapter Members, Annual voting has taken place in June and with unanimous elections the qualtrix voting is now concluded. Ivy Wiley vacates her VP role with a one year unexpired term. She will start her presidency on July 1, for a 2 year term. She succeeds Corey Fields who will be taking a role as a governance committee member. Elaine Hardy volunteered to be Vice President and by board consensus will serve Ivy's one year unexpired term from July 1 to June 30, 2025. Teresa Novy is serving a consecutive term of 2 years as the Governance Chair. Danielle Boudeman joins the board as the Leadership Succession Chair. She is still needing support on that committee.  Brenda Drury continues to serve her unexpired term as Secretary. Likewise Melissa Calvillo serves as our Xi Pi counselor and Julie Kennedy as the Xi Pi Treasurer in unexpired terms. Hello Everyone, Welcome to the Xi Pi Chapter of Sigma at Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing. We are pleased to welcome you to our chapter website. Sigma- Global Nursing Excellence (historically Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society) is the Honor Society of Nursing. Those who choose to be members are provided with valuable resources as they develop in their nursing career. Resources include global connections with peers, mentoring opportunities and continuing education. Members truly have the opportunity to make a difference in the profession of nursing and the provision of healthcare in the future. Welcome to our chapter and our website.
