A Message From Your Chapter President
Dear Epsilon Omega Chapter Members,
As we begin another year together, I invite each of us to reflect on the power of our voice, our value, and our impact as Sigma nurses.
Our voice matters. Nurses bring a vital perspective to conversations. Whether we are advocating at the bedside, mentoring a student, sharing evidence, leading change, or speaking on behalf of our communities, our voices have the power to shape the future of nursing and healthcare. I encourage each of you to always speak with courage, purpose, and confidence.
Our value is evident in the knowledge, compassion, and expertise we contribute every day. Membership in Sigma is both an honor and a responsibility. It connects us to a community of nurse leaders committed to excellence, scholarship, service, and lifelong learning. Together, we must recognize our own value while also celebrating and elevating the contributions of our colleagues.
Our impact is found in the lives we touch and the changes we create. Some contributions are highly visible, while others occur quietly through a meaningful patient interaction, an encouraging conversation with a student, a research question that challenges current practice, or an act of service that strengthens our community. Every effort matters, and our collective impact is greater when we work together.
I encourage you to engage fully with the Epsilon Omega Chapter by building meaningful relationships with fellow members. Your involvement strengthens our chapter and ensures that Sigma’s mission continues to thrive.
