    Dear Mu Psi Members,

Happy November! I hope this letter finds you well. I am honored to serve as the President of the Mu Psi Chapter of Sigma and look forward to a productive and engaging term with all of you.

At our board meeting on October 27, we discussed chapter plans, including earning the Key Award, social media and recruitment strategies, open board positions, and board role descriptions. We also addressed our mentorship program, December Induction for graduates, volunteer opportunities, and the Biennial Convention.

Treasurer’s Report: Sharon Hood provided an update on our account balance and budget. We will be raffling five Sigma cords to new members for both April and December inductions; this cost has been added to our yearly budget.

Leadership & Membership: Brandy Santana and I are aligning leadership roles with Key Award requirements to assign tasks efficiently. The mentorship program pairs Sigma members with Queens University students, please contact us if you wish to serve as a mentor.

December Induction invitations will be sent by Jean Marie Redder. Members interested in nurse leader membership may apply here:
