Beta Iota Chapter Celebration of Nurse Scholars Induction Ceremony was held on April 23 at 5:30 PM at UC College of Nursing. The location was changed from the Cincinnati Public Radio Station to UCCON due to the increase number of attendees (a positive!). Dr. Patrick Kokotek, Chapter Leadership Intern and speaker, shared his career journey and challenged the 36 inductees to remain focused on compassionate caring. Elegant Fare Catering served hors d’oeuvres on the 3rd floor Atrium. On April 24 at noon ET, 15 inductees participated in a virtual Celebration of Nurse Scholars Induction Ceremony. As their names were called, they placed their honor cords around their shoulders.
Beta Iota is grateful to be part of such a meaningful collaboration with Cincinnati Children's Nurses for Pediatric Progress, contributing to a research initiative led by Lisa Pompei that brings together Deans and research leaders from colleges and universities across Greater Cincinnati.
Hosted in the Cincinnati Public Radio Station Board Room, the workshop was guided by Dr Angela Clark and Minjin Kim, whose leadership fostered thoughtful discussion and collaboration around advancing pediatric research and care.
Proud to support work that connects academic leadership, clinical insight, and community impact!
Happy Holiday Season!!
