About the Alpha Psi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International

 The Michigan State University Chapter of Region 10 of the Sigma Theta Tau International, Nursing Honor Society. Alpha Psi members represent nursing leadership in clinical practice, education, service and research. The Chapter was founded in 1969, one of the earliest chapters in the Midwest.

Call for Research/Scholarship & Project Grants!!!

The Alpha Psi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International is committed to promoting nursing scholarship and is pleased to invite you to apply for one of the two following awards that focus on nursing knowledge generation, dissemination, and application:
 
  1. Alpha Psi Research/Scholarly Project Grant (up to $1,000)
  2. Alpha Psi Professional Development Award (up to $500)

Nursing Scholarship Day
“The Year of the Nurse: Nursing Scholarship-Past, Present & Future”

This free nursing scholarship event is intended for:
  • Students
  • Registered nurses
  • Clinical nurse educators
  • Clinical nurse leaders
  • Clinical nurse specialists
  • College/university nursing faculty.
 
This scholarship event is intended for networking and sharing literature reviews (student submission only), EBP, research, and quality improvement (QI) projects.
 
The Planning Committee is actively seeking poster abstracts of original research, replication of research, EBP, or QI projects. Abstracts/posters previously accepted and/or presented at conferences are welcomed. Research and projects may be completed or in-progress. Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the STTI Alpha Psi and college planning committee using a standardized rubric.
 
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Monday, March 2
Notification of acceptance will be sent by 5 p.m. Monday, March 16
