Spring Research Program and Awards Ceremony
The Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Chi Chapter sponsors an Annual Spring Research Program in May. Showcasing the range of science that members are engaged in throughout the year is one of the highlights of the section’s research activities. The program involves a keynote speaker and a poster presentation opportunity for members at large including undergraduate and graduate students. Awards go to the top three poster presentation based on scientific content, clarity and logic, impact, and the aesthetics of the poster. To plan the annual event, the Research Committee invites the keynote speaker, puts out the call for abstracts, reviews the abstracts and posters, and judges the top three poster presentations
