  • Scholarship Opportunities - Application is due on April 1

    Sigma offers a range of nursing scholarships, each providing up to US $5,000 annually, to support students advancing their nursing education.
    Opportunities include funding for RN‑to‑BSN students, those enrolled in Accelerated Second Degree or DNP programs through the Helene Fuld Health Trust, and nurses pursuing advanced degrees in areas such as nursing informatics or gerontological nursing.
    Applications are open through 1 April, with requirements typically including transcripts, an essay, and letters of support.

    The Alpha Alpha Lambda Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau is excited to announce that the application deadline for the 2026 Research & EBP Awards has been extended to 29 March 2026!

    We proudly support nursing scholarship and clinical inquiry—and this year, we’re offering $500 awards to nurses at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate preparation levels. A total of six awardees (three from SHC and three from SMCH) will be selected.

    Whether you’re leading a research study or driving evidence‑based innovation at the bedside, your work matters. We encourage all nurses committed to advancing practice to apply.

    • Master‑prepared Nurse
    • Doctorate‑prepared Nurse

    💰 Award Amount: $500
