Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community this Holiday season? Giving Hope Charity in Mt. Vernon is inviting passionate individuals to join them in making a real impact on young lives by helping students shop for holiday gifts. 

Date & Time: December 13th 11:30-15:30

Location: Meet at Mt. Vernon Middle School at 11:30am. Buses leave for Walmart at 12:30 and will return to the school at 15:30.

Summer Volunteer Opportunity

Over the years, Sigma members have partnered with American Red Cross to serve at the Comfort Station at the Knox County Fair. Stay tune for more information about this upcoming opportunity. The fair dates are July 19-26.

Global Initiative

During our spring induction ceremony, we highlighted a new global initiative to support nursing students at the Southern Africa Nazarene University in Manzini, Eswatini.  Donations are used to provide nutritious foods to support student learning. The OhioHealth Emergency Management team is seeking volunteers to serve as actors in their upcoming NECO regional exercise coming up on April 29. The team is seeking 17 volunteers to serve at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital and three volunteers to serve at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital.
