You are invited to our annual Nursing Science Day symposium highlighting the use of animal-assisted therapy in academic and clinical settings. The symposium will be held at the Fayetteville Town Center on March 7th, 2024, from 12:30pm - 7:00pm. Presenters will discuss the use of canines to address mental health concerns in academic and community health settings, and the use of canines in therapeutic sessions for children with autism. Dr. Temple Grandin is our keynote speaker and opportunities to meet her are scheduled throughout the symposium.
Faculty, staff, students, and community members from health care and academic settings are encouraged to attend. The link to the flyer to register is below.
