Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I wanted to reach out about a leadership opportunity for our Sigma Phi Upsilon members. We will have a position on the leadership board opening up for the next year (starting May, 2024). I will be reaching the end of my term for president in May 2024. Mrs. Angel Queen will be stepping up from the vice president/president elect role to the president role. We are looking for someone interested in fulfilling the vice president/president elect role. • • Vice President/President Elect Role
  • • Perform the duties of the president in the president's absence.  

    • Be chair of committees, as needed. 

    • Succeed into the office of president and serve until the next election in the event that the president vacates his/her officer during the two-year term. 

    • Prepare an annual report to the chapter membership regarding the vice-president's responsibilities and activities. 

    • Oversee the planning of chapter programs ensuring that at least two programs or events that support the honor society's purposes and goals are held each year. 

    • Will rotate into the president role after 2-years. This is a 4-year term: 2 -years as vice president/president elect and 2 years as president.
