  • Omicron-Sigma at Large Holiday Adopt-a-Family Holiday Event

Hello Members, Omicron Sigma at-Large is having our annual Adopt-a-Family Holiday event through Catholic Charities of Albany. If you would like to participate by buying a gift for an individual on our list, please contact me for the list of gifts requested. We are also happily accepting checks (payable to Omicron-Sigma at-Large) and our Sigma elves will shop for you. Better yet, sending a gift card is another way to spread holiday cheer to this individual! Checks and gift cards can be sent to me at the address below. All gifts should be wrapped, tagged and dropped off to myself or to Kathleen Curtin at Maria College Nursing Dept. 3rd floor McAuley Building, by noon on December 11, 2024. August 22, 2022 Dear Omicron Sigma at-large members,  As many of you know, the Center for Nursing at the Foundation of NYS Nurses, Inc. hosts an annual Nightingale Gala not only recognizing our founder, Florence Nightingale, but also recognizing community leaders and how they emulate the virtues of Florence Nightingale. This festive, formal event consists of award presentations, a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. This year’s gala is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022, beginning at 5:30 PM at the Albany Capital Center in Albany, NY.    We have reserved a table for Omicron Sigma at-large and currently have five seats available for the event and would be pleased to have you join us for the evening. Your sponsored seat at the Omicron Sigma at-large table is first come, first serve. Please respond to this email if you are interested in attending the event no later than 9/15/22.  We also want to keep you posted that we have several events planned for the near future, and we hope that you will be able to join us.     Sincerely,  Omicron Sigma at-large Chapter Board
