Gamma Rho Chapter

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the Gamma Rho Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International proudly welcomed 72 new members during our annual Induction Ceremony at the University of Utah College of Nursing. This year’s class included: 45 BSN students 22 Master’s, DNP, and PhD students 5 Nursing Leaders The ceremony was an inspiring celebration of nursing excellence, leadership, and scholarship. Alumni Hall was filled with energy and excitement as family, friends, faculty, and community partners gathered to honor the achievements of our inductees. Dr. Teresa Garrett, DNP, MSN, APHN-BC, delivered a powerful keynote address that encouraged our members to lead with compassion, integrity, and courage in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. We are so proud of our new members and deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the evening a success. Your ongoing support strengthens our chapter and continues to advance Sigma’s mission of promoting global nursing excellence. Let’s continue to uplift, connect, and inspire one another as we celebrate our new members and their contributions to the future of nursing.

On Thursday, November 14th, we had the honor of inducting 38 new members into our Sigma Gamma Rho Chapter. The ceremony was a truly special evening, bringing together prelicensure nursing students, graduate students, and nurse leaders from the University of Utah College of Nursing and our community. It was inspiring to witness the dedication and achievements of our new inductees as they joined our vibrant chapter. The evening was filled with celebration, camaraderie, and excitement for the future contributions of these remarkable individuals to the nursing profession.
