Charleston Walk for Water 2017

When:  Mar 25, 2017 from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM (ET)
Associated with  Gamma Omicron at-Large Chapter

In previous years our chapter has worked hard to support this important and established community-based yet globally impacting event. We look forward to participating for the 3rd year in a row, with a fundraising goal of $750.00. We hope you'll consider joining us for this awesome event!

Every day millions of people have to walk miles and miles just for water. Most of the time, the water they can find is contaminated and makes them sick.  We are excited because Water Mission is changing lives, one community at a time, through their sustainable safe water solutions.

Each dollar raised by this event is going to make an impact through a safe water community development project! We hope you'll consider supporting out team by making a donation or registering to walk with us.

After opening ceremonies, every participant will take a 2-Gallon bucket (provided at the event) and begin to walk a three mile route. The walk is symbolic of the walk that women and children make every single day to collect unsafe water.
