    I am delighted to share a call for papers for a forthcoming Special Issue of Public Health Nursing on LGBTQI+ Health in Public and Community Care

    This Special Issue seeks to advance knowledge and evidence relating to the health, wellbeing, care experiences, and healthcare delivery needs of LGBTQI+ populations within public health, primary care, community care, and population health settings. We welcome submissions from researchers, clinicians, nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, policymakers, and community partners.

    Topics may include, but are not limited to:

    • LGBTQI+ health inequalities and disparities
    • Community-based and primary care interventions
    • Mental health and wellbeing
    • Inclusive healthcare practice and service design
    • Public health approaches to LGBTQI+ health promotion
    • Ageing, chronic illness, and long-term care
    • Sexual and reproductive health
    • Gender-affirming care and transgender health
    • Education and workforce development
    • Community engagement, co-production, and policy initiatives

    The submission deadline is 31 March 2027.
