My name is Vicente Figueroa Feliciano, and I'm happy to join the LGBTQI+ community within Sigma. I am a registered nurse currently pursuing my MSN with a focus on Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
My clinical background is primarily in emergency nursing, and my professional interests include mental health care, culturally responsive practice, and improving access to affirming care for LGBTQI+ patients. As both a nurse and a member of the LGBTQI+ community, I care deeply about creating healthcare environments where patients and providers alike feel respected, safe, and valued.
I'm looking forward to connecting with colleagues who share an interest in advancing LGBTQI+ health, supporting each other professionally, and building stronger networks within nursing.
