Kappa Zeta-at-Large Chapter STTI offers several awards during the academic year, including:
- $500 Patricia Geary Academic scholarship award (for any active* Kappa Zeta-at-Large member working on their MS or doctoral degrees)
- $500 Holley Gimpel Research/EBP/QI Project Grant (for any active* Kappa Zeta-at-Large Chapter member seeking funding to support research or high-quality EBP/QI projects under development or in process). Applicants must be either the Principal Investigator or have a substantial active roll on the project. Interprofessional projects are accepted and encouraged.
- $300 Evidence Based Practice (writing award open to all active* Kappa Zeta-at-Large members; members strongly encouraged to discuss work in their facility with changing practice). This is an opportunity for practicing nurses to share their experiences with completed* QA/QI projects, and their attempts at changing practice based on the nursing literature.
- $100 Essentials of Nursing (open to ANY nursing student from SJC, USM, UNE, and MMC --- NON members can apply)
