Congratulations Cara Geoca, MSN, RN, selected as the Phi Chi Rising Star. Sigma’s Rising Stars of Research and Scholarship Award showcases students with scholarly work, such as research, evidence-based projects, or literature reviews. Ms. Geoca graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program in May 2021. She was nominated by faculty for her evidence-based project, “Prevention of Cesarean Delivery Surgical Site Infections.” She will receive an education scholarship from the Phi Chi Chapter to attend and present her ePoster at the 46th Biennial Convention.
