Please join us at our next Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, April 10th at 5:00 pm at the Lakes of Laguna Club House in Fort Myers. Dr. Shakira Henderson, Dean of the Univerisity of Florida College of Nursing, will be the guest speaker for the event. Come to welcome in new members and network with current members and guests. Greetings from the Alpha Alpha Rho Chapter!  Too much time has passed since there was a chapter meeting. Now that summer is over, although it is hard to tell it's fall when the temperatures are still near or at 90 +degrees, it is time to schedule regular chapter meetings and events. In the past Thursday evening seemed to be best for the meetings, however, if there is a better evening for the majority please let me know. The next meeting will be Oct 26, 2023 at 5:30pm via Zoom.  - We have several amazing announcements and developments to share. - First, kudos to our new members who joined our Chapter, and to the newly elected Board of Directors. You are now part of a society that values leadership, service, and excellence. We look forward to your ideas to improve membership recruitment and retention, and event planning. - Second, we are organizing a community service event in the next few months to support our local communities. We need your suggestions and involvement to make it a success. - Third, we are planning a few fun social activities, such as a night out meeting, and a holiday dinner night. Do not miss these opportunities to bond with other members and have a fun time. Thank you for attending this meeting and for being part of Alpha Alpha Rho Chapter. Good evening, This is an urgent appeal to all members, active and inactive, to consider running for one of the board and committee positions now open for the 2023-2025 term. There are several open positions (see attached) that are required by the Sigma organization in order for the Chapter to function and be successful.  Alpha Alpha Rho Chapter was chartered 3 years ago and is struggling to be successful as we started during and immediately after the pandemic.The Chapter needs member participation in attending meetings (virtual or in person) , the Induction ceremony to support new members, and stepping up to support the Chapter through participation. All levels of experience in board or committee member activity are welcome! Alpha Alpha Rho needs you!! The Chapter is only as strong as its membership.
