  • Fall 2025 IPN Conference

    The 2025 IPN Fall Program on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. New registration system which is similar to previous versions.
     
    Great News: Sigma Rho Chapter (UofM) has sponsored this event along with Sigma Eta Rho (EMU). Rho members now receive the discounted registration fee.

  • Spring 2025 IPN Conference

    Good day Eta Rho members,

    Mark your calendars for our Spring program, on Wed., May 14, 2025 in conjunction with the announcement of our annual Leadership Award and Education Award. Click HERE for more information about those awards. 

    Our Spring program is entitled “Opioid Overdose Prevention Education” and features Frank V. Schaller Jr., DNP, APRN, FNP-C. Dr Schaller is a nurse practitioner and assistant professor in the School of Nursing at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. He has spoken extensively on the topic of pain management and opioid overdose prevention, education, and the use of Narcan. He also serves on the board of directors for the Washtenaw County Families Against Narcotics chapter. We look forward to his talk this Spring.

    Here is the agenda for the evening:

    • 6:20-6:30 PM – Presentation of Education and Leadership Awards

    Program Description:

    Resilience is the ability to successfully adapt to stressors while maintaining wellbeing in the face of adversity.  Nurses and other healthcare professionals continue to experience a myriad of challenges and as a result our profession is working on ways to develop and increase resilience. Resilience involves a set of thoughts, behaviors and actions that can be learned and Taking the Lead 2025: The Power of Resilience to Enhance your Personal and Professional Success will address these issues and related topics. Sessions will focus on defeating burnout and thriving. We will also focus on navigating the challenges of emerging technologies such as AI as well as organizational and career transitions.  Savvy leadership strategies will be discussed, and an included pain management session focused on advances in the science and management of chronic pain.  We invite you to come together to learn from experts, reconnect with colleagues and renew your passion for nursing in the beautiful setting of the Saint John’s Resort.

     

    Learning Outcome:

    80% of participants will identify how resilience can enhance their professional and personal success.

    This conference is designed for nurses from all practice settings. You will take away information and leadership strategies that will significantly benefit your practice and your understanding of our professional challenges.
