We're thrilled to announce Dr. Kevin Yee as the keynote speaker for our Research Symposium on November 7, 2025.
Dr. Yee brings over two decades of educational innovation to our nursing community. Currently serving as Special Assistant to the Provost for Artificial Intelligence and Director of the Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning at the University of Central Florida, he is at the forefront of AI integration in higher education.
With a distinguished career spanning Duke University, Pomona College, and the University of Iowa, Dr. Yee earned his Ph.D. in German Literature from UC Irvine in 1997. His expertise extends far beyond traditional academics; he's pioneering the intersection of AI and education through his upcoming book series on AI fluency for faculty and his research on emerging technologies in teaching.
As UCF's Special Assistant to the Provost for AI, Dr. Yee is leading institutional efforts to harness AI technologies across faculty, staff, and student experiences. His current research focuses on student motivation, study skills, and the transformative potential of AI in educational settings.
