Congratulations to Sherri Stahl, Omega Eta Vice President, for completing the MSN Nurse Education program at Wilson College.

A special welcome to our new Omega Eta members!

1.      Our chapter welcomed 13 new members at our induction on December 2, 2025. Below is a picture of those who were in attendance.

Congratulations to Jeff Ulrich, Gretchen Turner, Brittany Rohrbaugh, Macie Mabe, Audrey Leke, Amy Hartley, Jennifer Haugh, and Tammy Miceli (in the order within the above picture)! We are excited that they will be starting or continuing their leadership development journey with us through Sigma. Thank you to those who brought donations to the event for WIN Victim Services (picture below) and those who provided financial support directly to them.

2.      This Saturday is the last day to see the Festival of Trees at the Franklin County Visitors Center at 15 South Main Steet, Chambersburg, PA (2025 Festival of Trees: “There’s A Song in the Air” | Visit Franklin County PA). Consider coming to the Cocoa Crawl in downtown Chambersburg this evening, 12/4/25, and seeing all the trees at the Visitors Center (our tree is on the main floor in the back right corner): Cocoa Crawl 2025 | Downtown Chambersburg | Visit Franklin County PA.

We were able to promote Sigma Omega Eta at a collaboration event with the senior nursing students from Wilson College and Franklin County Career Technology Center Practical Nursing Program on October 4, 20215. We provided the morning snack, shared values of Sigma, and promoted the Cynthia Clark Award, emphasizing the value of nursing civility.

Thank you, Omega Eta, for sponsoring the lunch at the ATI Kick Off on August 25, 2025, for the first-year students at Wilson College. The ATI Student Champions introduced the first-year students to the ATI learning program, promoting its benefits and functionality. With lunch provided, the students were able to focus on the training.

Thank you again for the opportunity to lead this wonderful chapter.  As the incoming President - Ginger Peterson is an amazing leader and will take Omega Eta to the next level.
