  • Nurturing the Inner Leader in Chaotic Times

For those of you who missed this wonderful presentation, below is the recording.
A purple and blue webinar flyer titled “Nurturing the Inner Leader in Chaotic Times” in large white and light-blue text across the top. The event will be held on March 12, 2026, from 5:00–6:00 PM. On the left side, a section labeled “Objectives” lists learning outcomes, including discussing evidence-based leadership models, exploring the role of values and purpose in nurturing the inner leader, and identifying two strategies to nurture the inner leader. A light-blue “Register Now” button appears below the objectives, along with a Zoom link (https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87138033626) and a QR code for registration. A badge-shaped graphic states, “The activity is free for attendees!” On the right side, there is a photo of Karen H. Morin, PhD, RN, ANEF, FAWHONN, FAAN, identified as Professor Emerita, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She is smiling with arms crossed, wearing a teal and green patterned jacket. The background features circular design elements in light blue and white. At the bottom, the flyer includes Sigma branding and chapter names, along with a note that one continuing education hour is provided through California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

  • 48th Biennial Convention

Last weekend at the Biennial Convention, Dahlia Maldonado, Susan Opas, and I proudly accepted our 5th Chapter Key Award, and what an unforgettable moment it was! Standing beside our outgoing President, Dr. Sandra Bibb, and Sigma CEO, Lucas Davis, made the honor even more extraordinary. What a phenomenal experience!!!

Thank you, members, for keeping our chapter’s legacy shining bright!

  • 14th Annual Glendale Health Festival

On November 1st, GTaL members volunteered at the Medical Missions Adventures Health Fair, which offered a variety of health screenings for community participants.  GTaL members provided education and comprehensive discharge planning to support over 300 attendees. We extend our gratitude to Medical Missions for the opportunity to collaborate and look forward to partnering with other organizations on future events that serve our community.
