Happy National Advanced Practice Provider Week!

National Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Week honors the contributions of Physician Assistants/Associates, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Certified Midwives/Certified Nurse Midwives, and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants. We recognize and celebrate providers who are certified and licensed to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses, prescribe medications, perform clinical procedures, and conduct clinical research in management of the whole individual. This important group of providers elevates the fields of medicine and nursing to ensure our patients and communities receive safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.

We utilize this week to celebrate the hard work of these professionals and to raise awareness of their unique roles in healthcare

Dear Epsilon Rho Members,

Happy Spring! Please see below some updates and announcements:

Important Dates:

July 17-20: Sigma Theta Tau International Congress, Seattle , Washington. Our very own Dr Caitlin Werther is presenting!

November 8-12, 2025: Sigma Theta Tau Biennial, Indianapolis, Indiana. (early registration opens September 3, 2025) Please let us know if you would like to serve as a delegate (we need 2). You must attend the entire conference to maximize the experience and networking. This is the registration link: https://www.sigmanursing.org/connect-engage/meetings-events/convention/registration

Early July, 2025: Call for Nominations for E-board positions for 2-year terms beginning on September 1, 2025, will be sent out to the members. (See attached position duties.)

2. INDUCTION: We had our beautiful induction ceremony on Sunday, March 30^th and we want to thank those who attended and a big thank you to our Keynote Speaker and founding chapter member, June Chu, RN, BSN, MSN who presented the wonderful history of our chapter and provided a very inspiring message. A big congratulations to our newly inducted chapter members! Please see a coule of the attached pictures from the event. Be sure to follow us on our Facebook page and see the many pictures from the induction and visit us also on the circle on the Sigma website. For the new members and new grads who have been inducted, please be sure to login to your Sigma account and update your emails from your school emails to your personal emails so you can receive important updates from the chapter and Sigma.
