  • Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! We are looking forward to another great year at UNG and NGHS.

Our chapter goal is to serve our members- that's you! Let us know how we can support you or if you'd like to join us in serving others.

Do you have an idea for a community, hospital, or university event? Do you know a nurse that deserves recognition? Let us hear from you so that we can share stories among our current members- stories of excellence, inspiration, or achievement.  Reach out anytime!

  • Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays, Tau Psi at-Large Chapter!
    • We've had a productive half of the fiscal year, which included our recent nursing graduation and pinning, the Alzheimer's Walk, sponsored student lunches, hot cocoa bar during final exams week, and attendance and recognition at the Sigma National Convention. We received an award for Exemplary Efforts and Service during the 2021-2023 Biennium, which we're very proud of!
    • Upcoming events for 2024 include sponsored lunches for incoming nursing students, Sigma snack cart to show our NGHS nurses some love on Valentine's Day, induction ceremony on 3/28/24, annual elections in the spring, and a research opportunity next fall.
    • As you can see, we’ve been busy! The current Tau Psi leadership team consists of ten members who govern the chapter according to a set of bylaws with a mission to serve our members. So that we can continue our efforts we will be asking for volunteers and donations in 2024, more information to come. Please consider giving a few dollars or a few hours of your time. We'd love to hear from you- share your nursing news, ideas, and information.
    • As we reflect on 2023 and welcome 2024, let us remember the Sigma values of Love, Courage, and Honor. What do they mean to you in the new year? Thank you for being a Tau Psi member, we appreciate you!
    My best,
Deidre Harp, Tau Psi at-Large Chapter President
