Do you know you know a nurse who demonstrates nursing excellence? Or someone who you think should be member of the Sigma honor society? Psi Pi Chapter is seeking nominations for nurse leaders to be inducted at our ceremony in May.
Sigma is recognized as one of the most distinguished nursing organizations and a world leader in nursing scholarship, leadership, and service. Their purpose is to recognize superior achievement, develop leadership qualities, and foster high professional standards, as well as encourage creative work and strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession. No matter where a nurse is in his/her nursing career, if he/she meets the criteria for consideration, he/she may apply for membership as a Nurse Leader.
Current members are being asked to identify and encourage nurses to apply for membership to Sigma as a Nurse Leader. To be considered for induction into The Society as a Nurse Leader, applicants must:
- be a registered nurse, legally recognized to practice in his/her country
- have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree or the equivalent in any field; and
- have demonstrated achievement in nursing
Applicants may submit a
