  • Free NCLEX Test Taking Strategies Webinar

When:  Apr 8, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (ET)
Preparing for the NCLEX-RN® can be a stress provoking experience in varying degrees. Studying is so much more than memorizing content, regurgitating everything learned in nursing classes, or taking what previous NCLEX test takers are telling others to know for the test.

Dr. Lois Marshall has developed over the last 40 years, unique test taking strategies for NCLEX type questions that can and will assist you in this effort. In this 90-minute webinar, the primary focus will be on Marshall’s© unique test taking strategies for success on the NCLEX or with NCLEX type questions. Multiple examples of how to use each strategy will be discussed, as well as examples of questions where you can see these strategies successfully used. The techniques of "Linking" and "Conceptualization" will be described, but are not the focus of this webinar.

Participants can feel free to ask questions in this interactive webinar, by voice, or by message, as this session is FOR YOU. So, whether you are a soon to be new graduate or still have some time to go in nursing school, we encourage you to tune in.

    Wednesday, 8 April at 11:00 a.m. EST

  • Real World Impact of the Corona Virus

As all of us buckle down to either long shifts at work with anxious patients or long hours at the computer revamping face to face courses that now have to go online overnight, please take a moment to count each and every blessing, big or small. They are there, they can be counted, and we need each of them to be able to infuse joy into the lives around us. The Board leaders at Sigma Mu Phi At Large are doing our best to create an online presence but please be patient as we adjust to our new normal. Reach out with questions, ideas for online topics, or things we can do as a chapter to support each other! Sincerely, The Board of Mu Phi At Large
