Once again Lambda Eta is sponsoring an Evidence-Based Practice Conference the evening of Monday, April 6, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Attached are applications for podium speakers and poster presenters. Three blocks of time have been scheduled for speakers along with time during breaks to view the many posters that display best practice or research projects. This activity will be submitted to the Maryland Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Maryland Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Dinner is included!
This year two speakers will be given 45 minutes for their presentation, and in place of a third speaker, three to four posters will be selected and their authors given about 10 minutes to speak about theirposter. This will allow attendees to hear from several clinicians on a wide variety of topics.
Registration for this event will be available early-March once the speakers and topics have been confirmed.
The conference planning committee needs your help in promoting this event which supports the mission of Lambda Eta and Sigma Theta Tau, "support the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide". Encourage your co-workers and teams to complete an application and encourage attendance at this popular event. Applications must be received by February 26th. That process is explained in the attached applications.
