In addition to hosting a Founder's Day Tea (where we had selfies with Florence Nightengale!) and cookie socials, some of our accomplishments during 2017-2018 included:
Scholarship: Supported research and travel grants for graduate and undergraduate members to attend and present at conferences and held a research dinner with over 50 attendees on opportunities for nursing research;
Leadership: Supported two chapter leaders to attend Sigma's biennium convention to learn more about chapter management and provided free registration for members to attend disaster relief training
Service: Co-hosted benefit concert to raise money for Hurricane Harvey survivors at UT, collected care package items for those in need and delivered to local church
