Robin Britt, EdD, RN, (third from left) was one of five women recognized at the Texas Medical Center - Women’s History Project (TMC-WHP) reception on March 19, 2015. The TMC-WHP started in 2013 and for the third year has added five oral histories of women who have contributed to the development of health science at the medical center. Dr. Britt is Professor Emeritus at TWU; she is a long-standing member of Beta-Beta Houston and its first president. Beta Beta Houston made a financial donation to the TMC-WHP in honor of Dr. Britt.
Also of note, Ann Scanlon McGinty, PhD, RN, (second from left) was also one of the women interviewed in 2015. She was recently appointed to the TWU Board of Regents. She is a member of STTI.
