Attention Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Members and Indiana University Nursing Faculty and Students, 
 
Sigma Theta Tau Alpha chapter will be hosting a poster showcase at the Indiana University Bicentennial “Beyond Boundaries” Academic Symposium being held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis,  April 3-4, 2020. The poster showcase will take place on April 3 from 5-6:30pm just prior to the keynote address and conference banquet. Posters will stay up for viewing through Saturday. Previously presented work is acceptable for submission.
The Indiana University Bicentennial Conference ( https://200.iu.edu/events/17901507https://go.iu.edu/2abh   https://200.iu.edu/signature-projects/bicentennial-symposia/societies.html) is a celebration of 200 years of Indiana University. This multi-disciplinary conference is a means to bring several disciplines together in one conference for a scholarly discussion of how all of the academic and practice disciplines work together to address global issues and to draw awareness of how we are all connected rather than distinct and separate. Registration for the conference opens on January 20, 2020. A link will be forthcoming. 
All STTI Alpha members, nursing faculty, and students are invited to submit abstracts of research and evidence-based practice projects, reviews of the literature, community-based projects, and other scholarly work. All are encouraged to complete an abstract to present at this distinguished event. This is a unique opportunity to share your work in an interdisciplinary forum.
 
Submissions will include:
·      Presenter name and credentials
·      Affiliate organization
·      Presentation category (IU Student, IU Faculty, STTI Member)
·      Title of the Presentation
·      Purpose of the Poster: A brief purpose statement explaining the project and how the project reflects the mission    of Sigma Theta Tau: Sigma's mission is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. (100 words)
·      A statement of 2-3 objectives of what you hope to communicate through your poster
·      A 250 word abstract of your project

Registration for the conference is FREE for students and only $50.00 for faculty and professionals.
